Terms of Sale & Refund Policy

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Sale & Refund Policy (“Terms”) apply to every purchase or download of Florida Unlocked guides, the Future Forward Playbook, and other digital products offered on stephmaillard.com and its Future Forward site, including free guides.

Products are sold by Stephanie Maillard, a real estate sales associate licensed in Florida only, affiliated with Florida’s Best Realty Services, 5499 N. Federal Hwy, Suite B, Boca Raton, FL 33487. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Stephanie Maillard.

By completing a purchase or download, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not buy or download our products.

2. Products, delivery, and payment

Digital products only. Our products are delivered electronically. No physical item is shipped.

Delivery. After payment, you will be taken to a download page for your file. Save it to your device right away. If you lose access or your link stops working, email us and we will send a new one.

Pending: e.g. Download links stay active for [X] days and allow up to [X] downloads. If you do not receive your file within one hour, check your spam folder, then contact us.

Payment. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Applicable sales tax, if any, is shown at checkout.

Accuracy. We try to describe each product accurately, including its format, contents, and page count. If we discover a pricing or description error, we may correct it and will offer you a refund if the error affected your purchase.

Phone numbers. A phone number given at checkout is used only for order support. Buying a product does not sign you up for marketing calls or texts.

3. Refund policy

All sales are final once the file is delivered, except as described below. Because our products are digital downloads that cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or for having purchased the wrong product. This policy is displayed at checkout before you pay.

When we will replace your file or refund you. If you contact us within 14 days of purchase and your product is:

• defective or corrupted (for example, the file will not open or pages are missing), we will send a working replacement. If we cannot fix the problem, we will refund your purchase in full;
• not as described (the contents materially differ from the product description on the Site), we will refund your purchase in full; or
• charged in error (for example, you were charged twice for the same order), we will refund the duplicate charge.

How to request help. Email [email protected] with your name, order email, product name, and a short description of the problem. A screenshot helps. We will respond within 3 business days.

How refunds are paid. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to post the credit.

Please contact us first. If something is wrong with your order, reach out before disputing the charge with your card issuer. We can usually fix the problem faster. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable law.

4. Your license to use the guides

When you buy or download a product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own household’s move, home purchase or sale, or personal planning. You may download it, save it on your devices, print copies, and write in it for that personal use.

You may not:

• resell, share, post, or distribute the files, in whole or in part, including in groups, file-sharing sites, or social media;
• use the guides in a business, class, or client program, or rebrand them, without our written permission; or
• remove copyright notices or disclaimers.

All text, layouts, and original designs in the guides are owned by Stephanie Maillard and protected by copyright. Some illustrative images were created with AI tools or licensed from stock providers and do not depict actual properties or clients. For permission to use a guide with a group, email us.

5. Educational products only

Not professional advice. Our products provide general information about moving, buying, and selling a home. They are not legal, tax, lending, insurance, or financial advice, and they do not replace advice from licensed professionals in your state. Your own contract controls your deadlines and rights. Future Forward is a personal planning workbook. It is not medical or mental-health advice, and it does not guarantee earnings, employment or any other outcome.

No professional relationship. Buying or downloading a product does not create a brokerage, agency, transaction-broker, or other professional relationship with Stephanie Maillard or Florida’s Best Realty Services. You are under no obligation to use our real estate services. If you already work with an agent, use the guides with them.

Licensed in Florida only. Stephanie Maillard is licensed as a real estate sales associate in Florida only and does not provide real estate brokerage services in any other state. We cannot answer questions about a specific property or transaction outside Florida, but we can ask our broker to refer you to a licensed agent in your state.

Information changes. Real estate laws, forms, and practices vary by state and change over time. Each guide states the date its information is current as of.

No sponsorship. No content in our products is paid for or sponsored by any lender, title company, inspector, insurer, or other service provider, and we do not receive referral fees or affiliate payments from them.

6. Disclaimers and limits

Disclaimer. Apart from the refund commitments in Section 3, products are provided “as is.” We work to keep them accurate and up to date but do not guarantee any particular result, savings, or outcome from using them.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from decisions you make based on general educational content. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by Florida law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when you made your purchase apply to that purchase.
